Agriculture & Orchard
Small farms, hobby orchards, crop fields, and homestead operations across New Hampshire tend to fall into a service gap. Big commercial operations are too big, and small operations often find themselves under-equipped for the work. We fit the middle: routine field, fence, and pasture work, plus specialty orchard establishment and rejuvenation. We manage farms for the longterm health of the soil without sacrificing yields.

Orchard Management
New orchard design starts with the site (drainage, exposure, soil, deer pressure), the intended use (cider, table fruit, wildlife mast), and the varieties that make sense for northern New England. We handle site prep, planting, deer fencing, and the first three to five years of establishment work. On existing orchards, we do annual pruning, integrated pest management, and rejuvenation work that brings a neglected apple stand back into production.

Crop Field Management
New field creation and reclamation from wooded or overgrown ground, and ongoing management of existing fields for hay, small grains, silage, cover crops, or vegetable production. We handle stumping, rock removal, initial tillage, liming, and seedbed preparation, then advise on crop rotation and long-term soil health so the field stays productive year after year. Best fit for landowners bringing idle land back into agricultural use, or expanding an existing operation.

Row Crop Support
Seasonal support for landowners running annual row crops (corn, soybeans, small grains, vegetables) on their own or in partnership with a farm operator. Ground prep, cover crop establishment between cash crops, drainage improvements, and edge management to reduce wildlife pressure. We aren't a full-time row crop operation, but we handle the boundary work that keeps a row crop program viable.

Farm Management
For landowners who own working farmland but don't live on it or don't have the time to run it day-to-day, we act as farm manager: coordinating custom operators, overseeing hay and grain harvests, managing lease relationships, handling routine repairs, and reporting to the landowner on income, expenses, and condition. Best suited for out-of-state landowners, estates, and family-held properties in transition.

General Agricultural Services
The everyday field and pasture work property owners actually need: field mowing and brush hogging, pasture renovation and reseeding, fencing repair and install, small-scale grading and land shaping, and the routine work that keeps a working landscape functional between larger projects.
